Here at HPR we offer many of the recreational team sports programs for Hanover and the K-8 school teams. Below is a listing of the local non-profit sports organizations that offer programs for age groups we do not cover as well as the area travel teams. Dresden Baseball Association Website: https://dbacr.website.siplay.com/There are currently three divisions within DBA: Majors (ages 11-12), Minors (ages 8-10), and 7th/8th Grade. DBA is open to Lyme, Hanover, Norwich and Thetford children primarily in the second through eighth grades. Friends of Hanover Lacrosse Website: www.hanoverlacrosse.com Friends of Hanover Lacrosse supports youth lacrosse in Hanover and Lyme, New Hampshire and Norwich and Strafford, Vermont. In addition to providing assistance to the boys and girls high school teams, they administer the 7th and 8th grade lacrosse program for Hanover & Norwich.Lightning Soccer Club Website: www.uvlightning.orgLightning Soccer is a non profit premier youth soccer club serving over 60 towns in the Upper Valley of New Hampshire and Vermont. Lightning Soccer offers competitive soccer players ages 3-19 the chance to learn, train, and develop under the guidance of qualified coaches. Lightning travel teams compete in state and regional leagues. Hanover Hockey Association Website: www.hanoverhockey.orgHHA is a non-profit, volunteer organization whose purpose is to teach youths the skills of ice hockey starting at age 4. The programs offered will initially emphasize basic skating, stick handling and passing skills and later develop team oriented skills.
