HPR Maintenance Worker

This is a full time year round position that works 7 months outdoors with the Grounds Division and 5 months indoors within the RWB Community Center. Grounds Division duties include, but are not limited to, inspecting playgrounds and playground equipment to identify and repair unsafe conditions; assisting in laying out, preparing and maintaining sports fields and related equipment; helping to maintain Town landscaping, trees, parks, trails, grounds and cemeteries; removing trash and debris; and setting up/taking down lights, banners and equipment for special events. Community Center duties include, but are not limited to, facility light maintenance and repairs, custodial activities, painting, set up and take down for special events, and snow removal operations during winter months. We are seeking a part-time year round Program Specialist to help supervise and coordinate HPR's Out of School Time programs (after-school, summer camp, and mini-camp). This is a year-round and benefits-eligible position. 25 hours per week when Hanover schools are in session, and 35 hours per week during designated school breaks, including the summer break. Candidates must be highly responsible, creative, energetic, fun-loving and enjoy working with school age children.
