Functional Fitness

A fitness class that focuses on how we move. Learn to be stronger in a way that benefits our every-day life as well as recreation.

This class will incorporate foundational exercises that will provide strength and flexibility to optimize mobility and prevent injury. Modifications will be offered for injuries and different levels. The majority of exercise will not require equipment and can be done at home.

This class will include the following: Breath work, Postural stability and mobility exercise, Strength training with bodyweight and kettlebells, core strengthening, and dynamic strengthening.

Principles from yoga, pilates, and natural movement will be used making the class fun, interesting and challenging.

All levels welcome!
